Before launching Sidney Street in 2016, Karen spent 12 years at the helm of MasterChef UK, where she grew it from its daytime roots into the BAFTA winning format that has become a prime-time ratings winner and set the template for the genre. In her life before the relaunching of MasterChef in 2004 and formatting the Celeb, Jnr & Professional MasterChef brands, Karen produced a range of documentaries, features and fact-ent programmes at MTV, Talkback, Pilot, September Films, Discovery, ITV and the BBC.

Martin Buckett
Head of Production
Martin’s TV career has spanned more than two decades in production management, from steering the mega series that is MasterChef at Shine TV, to being the brains behind the budgets across all of Sidney Street’s output. A level-headed thinker, Martin’s skill set spans from training his Production team to laying protective flooring in a studio.

Amy Kassell
Development Executive
With Sidney Street since its launch Amy previously developed Three Day Nanny, Scrappers, Kids With Cameras, The Money Pit and Dave Gorman: Modern Life is Goodish at Liberty Bell – along with working at Wall to Wall on ground-breaking series My Long-Lost Family and The Young Ones.

Steve Holbrook
Development Producer
Steve’s background in fact-ent and documentary started at Love Productions before moving on to Sidney Street. Pivotal in the development of Sidney Street’s new formats, Steve is a versatile member of the team, also turning his hand to production and edit producing.

Kerisa Edwards
Executive Assistant
A graduate of the University of Birmingham, Kerisa launched her career at Channel 4’s Diversity Scheme and has gone on to explore a range of roles within the industry. Kerisa is the Queen of organisation and as well as turning her hand to any part of film production, talent management and duty of care, she is very good at maintaining the social life of the company.
